Hello! I am a photographer living in Newport, South Wales. I started my career in 2018 after moving here permanently from Bristol. New location, new life, new me!

Photography was always there in my life. My husband bought me my first camera back in 2010 and as soon as I send kids to school, I was out and about taking the photos.

Taking the decision to become a photographer was one of the hardest in my life. We just had a small baby, we moved to Wales, I quit my old job… and needed at least £10 000 to invest just to start the business. You can imagine the pressure. It was hard, it was a rollercoaster, but also an amazing adventure. Four years later I am still doing great (actually keep growing).

I am concentrating mostly on business and brand photography, but locally I am known for community work, successful series of exhibitions – Women of Newport and involvement in project tackling feminism, work with elderly, local music scene, festivals promoting Welsh heritage. Soon also highlighting multicultural Newport by photography. Just watch this space.

Being self employed is exciting and fascinating. Being also a photographer means meeting new people, linking with interesting creatives and successful businesses.
